Learning, Passion, etc.

Learning keeps your mind fresh. It forces you to use your brain and utilize your potential. You might hate learning if you aren't a nerd and you, like many others, mistakenly relate learning to studies only. Learning is to learn and you can learn pretty much anything. The speed of learning would be super fast if you're passionate about that subject while the speed is relatively low if you hate that subject.

Giving up shouldn't be the choice for those who learn with the desire to increase their knowledge. If you're passionate about Medicine then pursue it with all the hard work you can put, but don't pursue it to earn big bucks because that depends upon your luck. While many people die to get into Ivy League universities in order to finish a degree that guarantees lucrative packages but the passionate ones like Mark Zuckerberg don't even complete their degrees and yet are now employing Ivy League graduates who consider Facebook as the one of the best employers to work for. The fact is that Zuckerberg was himself part of an Ivy League university eliminates the possibility that he wouldn't have done so, if he was in a top notch university.

In short, he pursued his passion and based on the availability of sources to learn, there shouldn't be any excuse regarding your progress because you can learn pretty much everything in the Internet. If you like singing there are plenty of guides available, same goes for Sports, Programming, Writing, etc. It might sound too easy and a complete opposite of what life has to offer. Majority of the people want to settle down because at the end of the day, earning "bread and butter" for oneself and family is the bigger goal and I completely agree with it. However, keeping your passion on one side isn't hard to do, especially because it is what you love doing.

Decision making will always be subjective

Decision making at the highest level is as difficult as it seems from an eye of a common man. As it's said that 'with great power comes great responsibilities.' But human brain works the same way in everyone.

No matter how much you try to keep your opinions out of the context of decision making you'll still end up nowhere. Be it the President taking a decision about the future of his state or young middle class boy about his next pursuit in professional life, there's some sort of personal factor involved that would ultimately influence your decision.

Bill Clinton, former US President, was often criticized for being too soft during his time at the White House. He described the influence of his stepfather on this personality trait of his. His bitter relationship with his father had a positive impact morally on his personality as he developed a habit of reconciliation. This was considered as negative by his haters and this positive perception made him to take decisions that used to focus more on appeasement instead of aggression.

Perceptions in Life

Failures can affect your life in two ways. It will either dent your self confidence or teach you a lesson that should never be repeated.

All depends upon your perception. If your perception is wrong then the failure would be very difficult to forget and the level of confidence will go down even more, gradually. If your perception is right, even then you shouldn't forget about the failure because this lesson would guide to an alternate path that could take you to your destination. Remember that even the alternate path might not take you to your destination however it will teach you another lesson about the path that shouldn't be adapted.

This might sound idealistic but those who put this idealism in their daily life are often the most steadfast and brave. Those who always win are high in confidence but those who win after bouncing back from a defeat are BRAVE.

Explanation(III)-Calculation

Let's make the following assumptions:

Apples=X
Bananas=Y
Coconuts=Z

Hence,
3X=30, X=10
X+2Y=18, 10+2Y=18, Y=4
4-Z=2, Z=2

Therefore, X+Y+Z=10+4+2 =16

Explanation(II)- Calculation

Advertiser gets $0.1 per click. So, the advertiser gets a dollar for 10 clicks and 200 clicks for $20. But since only 20% of the visitors click an ad. Hence, the advertiser needs 1000 visitors to generate 200 clicks and $20.
